Goldberg backs Udiroko festival

Goldberg Lager Beer has announced that Udiroko festival, Ado-Ekiti’s annual flagship festival has its support.

The annual Udiroko festival is slated for Tuesday, August 23rd.

Goldberg Lager Beer, a leading beer promoter of South-West culture promised to make the event more impressive and alongside the orgnisers celebrate the befitting tradition of the people of Ado-Ekiti.

Speaking on the sponsorship, the Portfolio Manager, Regional Mainstream and Stout Brands, Nigerian Breweries Plc, Emmanuel Agu, said: “As a brand that has been worthy partners with the Southwest region and catering for the cultural needs of the people, we are committed to championing causes that add value to the cultural heritage of the people of Ado-Ekiti through the Udiroko Festival.”

Mr. Agu also added that the highlights of the brand’s support for the festival are two gala events scheduled for Saturday August, 20, 2016 and Sunday, August 21, 2016. The gala events would precede the main event scheduled for the palace of the Ewi of Ado-Ekiti on Tuesday.

Goldberg Lager beer also sponsors other cultural festivals that showcase and celebrate the rich traditions of the people of the South West region of Nigeria, such as the ongoing Osun Osogbo Festival.
