One Sunday Adeyeye, who worked as a medical doctor in a private hospital in Ogun State with forged first degree in medicine certificate has been arrested.

Adeyeye’s arrest was made known by the Director, Hospital Services, Ogun State Ministry of Health, Dr Sola Adebiyi, to newsmen on Friday.
Adebiyi said the suspect was the sixth quack doctor nabbed in the state in recent time in the ongoing re-registration and revalidation of doctors across the state.
She said the arrest of the fake doctor was dramatic.
Her word, “We were suspicious when the owner of Ganny-Hash Clinic and Maternity Hospital in Ifo, Mr Ganiyu Okewole, presented the said fake Dr Sunday Adeyeye’s certificate for re-validation of his facility.
“We then asked him to bring the doctor in person which is one of our requirements for the exercise.
“Going through the Ahmadu Bello University certificate he presented and comparing it with the ministry’s records, there we discovered he has been practicing with a forged certificate and we immediately call in the police to effect his arrest.’’
