Four arrested for stealing grandma’s pants

The Ekiti State Police Command have arrested four men for stealing a pair of pants belonging to a grandmother, Modupe Adekoya, in the Olorunsogo area of Basiri, Ado Ekiti.
The pants was apparently stolen with the view to be used for ritual.
The woman raised the alarm after she couldn’t find it on her balcony where she spread it around 3.00am on Tuesday. The missing pants was later traced to one Friday, a 21-year-old who in turn sold it at N2,000.
Friday was said to usually help Madam Modupe with her chores and in return she would give him food.

“Friday confessed as a result of pressure mounted on him and took the police to the house of three men, claiming they contracted him to bring the underwear and promised to give him N2,000,” Madam Modupe told newsmen.
