Four Nigerian artistes in top 10 of Forbes richest African musicians list

Forbes Africa says Nigerian artistes, Don Jazzy, Wizkid and Davido, are among the top ten richest African musicians.

In the list Forbes released, it said it used factors such as endorsement value, popularity, show rates, sales, awards, YouTube views, appearance in newspapers, investment, social media presence, influence and others.

AKON, who has over 35 million albums sold worldwide is number on the list. Coming next to him is South-Africa multi-award winner Black Coffee.
Coffee’s South Africa counterpart, Hugh Maskela, is the 3rd artiste on list. Others are:

5. Tinashe, Zimbabwe-American
6. Jidenna, Nigerian-American
7. Wizkidd
8. Davido o
9. Sarkodie, Ghana
10. Oliver Mtukudzi
