A stir was caused on Friday in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital when a middle-aged man passing himself off as a mentally ill person to engage in suspected vile acts was found out.

The alleged fake madman was caught near the state Ministry of Environment and Forestry along Ahmadu Bello Way by vigilant residents in the metropolis.
His activities was said to have come under discreet scrutiny of some persons who suspected he was not mad, and may be working for a ritualist gang.
Eyewitness said they confronted him on Friday and found in his possession, a cheque of N100m, four automated teller machine cards, Infinix Hot 5 phone, his pictures with top politicians in Nigeria; male and female condoms; and valium injections.
The discovery was said to confirm their suspicion prompting them to pounce on him with some passersby who joined to mob the fake madman.
The incident was caught on camera by an enthusiast who posted it on Facebook. It has generated hundreds of views as well as comments.
