DSS Parades “Dead Ekiti Lawmaker”

The Department of State Services (DSS) has laid to rest claims by the Ekiti State government that Hon. Afolabi Akanni who is in its custody is dead.afolabi 3

The DSS paraded Hon. Afolabi Akanni, who represents Efon Constituency in the state’s House of Assembly on Thursday to dispel rumour of the death of the lawmaker earlier initiated by the state government in a press statement, and press conference.

The state Commissioner for Information, Youth Sports and Culture, Mr. Lanre Ogunsuyi had said that Hon. Akanni died early today in a statement.

He said, “We were told that he developed an ailment last night and he died by morning.”
