Almost two months after her husband survived a helicopter crash, wife of the Vice-President, Dolapo Osinbajo, has broken her silence on the incident.
Osinbajo and nine others including his blood brother, Femi, were aboard the ill-fated Augusta AW139 helicopter that crash landed at Kabba in Kogi on February 2 during a visit to the state.
The VP, however, survived unhurt. His wife, who publicly had maintained sealed lips over the incident recounted that she was in Ikenne in Ogun where the couple hail from when the news of the crash broke.
Mrs. Osinbajo stated this at an interdenominational service of praise and thanksgiving to appreciate God for sparing her husband’s life.
Recall that Osinbajo himself, earlier at a thanksgiving service held at the RCCG City of Grace, in Lokoja, Kogi state, said, “This is my older brother, the same father, same mother. Our father passed on long ago, but, our mother is alive. If both of us had lost our lives on the same day, that would have been an absolute tragedy, but, God saved that from happening.”
