Detained Ekiti Lawmaker hospitalised After His Release

Detained Ekiti lawmaker, Hon. Akanni Afolabi, has been released eighteen days after he was kept in Department of State Services, DSS custody.ekiti-lawmaker2

The rumour of Hon. Akanni’s death that was initiated by Ekiti State government last week was immediately dispelled by the DSS in a press conference where he was paraded.

And on Wednesday he regained his freedom following his release by the DSS.
Hon. Akanni was released into the hands of eagerly waiting Peoples Democratic Party(PDP) supporters, and Gov. Fayose.

He has been admitted to a hospital in Abuja.
