Deeper Life pastor’s wife lynched to death for blasphemy

Mrs. Bridget Agbaheme, wife of a senior pastor with Deeper Life Bible Church, Pas¬tor Mike Agbaheme, has reportedly been lynched to death in Kano State for allegedly insulting Prophet Muhammad.

Late Agbaheme, a mother-of-one, was said to have been beaten up by a crowd at Wambai market where she was a seller, selling plastics after they overheard her apparently make the disparaging remarks.

Reports say her widower, Pastor Agbaheme, was at scene of the attack and two suspects have been arrested.

The remains of the deceased has been deposited at the Murtala Mohamed Specialist Hospital in the state.

The Public Relations Officer of the Kano Police Command, DSP Musa Magaji, reportedly confirmed the incident, stating that there was a religious disagreement between the deceased and some traders at the market.
