Undergraduate who was allegedly killed by Alhaji for ritual died of acute cocaine poison – National Hospital

Another twist has been added to the controversy surrounding the death of Joy Odama, a 200-level student of Cross River State University of Technology, in one Alhaji Usman Adamu’s house in Abuja.

The National Hospital Abuja has asserted that Miss Odama, who was allegedly killed by Alhaji Adamu on December 20, 2016, died of acute cocaine poison.

“The cause of death was traced to cardiogenic shock secondary to diffusion, myocardial infaration secondary to possible acute cocaine poison,” the hospital said.

Mother of the deceased, Mrs. Philomena ODAMA had accused Alhaji Adamu of killing her daughter for ritual.

Mrs. Odama said the DPO of Karmo police state, CSP NKEM RAPHAEL and the alleged killer have been conniving to sweep the matter under the carpet.

She also said that not few girls have been killed in such manner by Alhaji Adamu, saying he offered him N400, 000 as compensation for killing her daughter.
