Abducted pupils of Government Girls’ Science Technical College, Dapchi, Yobe State, have been released.
The report has set the internet alight, and a wave of wild jubilation in Yobe State.
It said 106 of them were released, five were said to have died in the forest while one is reportedly held on to by the militant group on account that she was a Christian.
The freed girls were said to have been dropped at the centre of the town on Wednesday by members of the terrorist group in front of a police station.
The girls, according to the report. are currently in a government hospital in the state where they are said to be undergoing medical examinations.
