A Nigerian-born doctor living in the UK, Cyprian Okoro, on Tuesday appeared before a British court where he is standing trial on a charge of possessing an extreme pornographic image that included a man having sex with snake.

The court heard that the 55-year-old stored three videos of a woman having sex with a dog, one of a man having sex with a snake and one of a woman having sex with a horse on his Samsung mobile phone.

The jurors were told that Okoro received the pornographic image via mobile messaging app WhatsApp.
Charged with five counts of possessing pornography of a ‘grossly offensive, disgusting or otherwise obscene character’, he is also accused of one charge of possessing indecent images of a child relating to a video of a two-year-old boy, Daily Mail reported.

The report say, opening the trial, the prosecutor Nicola Devas told jurors they would be spared from watching the videos as the question of whether they were indecent or extreme was not at issue.

Okoro, however, denied the charges against him.

Section 63 of the Criminal Justice and Immigration Act 2008 is a law in the UK criminalising possession of what it refers to as “extreme pornographic images”.

The trial continues.
