Movie Producer Yemi Ayebo popularly known as Yemi My Lover, has said that he is not contemplating a legal action against hip-hop artiste Olamide over copy right infringement. yemi

Yemi My Lover is the title of a classically popular Yoruba movie that was produced by Ayebo in the early 90s.

Source close to Ayebo who patterned his movie style after Indian films, and was famous for singing and dancing in his movies in the nineties, said Olamide did not seek the veteran artiste’s permission before he sang Yemi My Lover, his album’s third single that was released on October 6, 2013.Olamide1

However, Ayebo who released hit movies like Yemi in the Moon, Joke Onibudo, Leyin Igbeyawo, Ode Aperin, Olowo America among others, has no plan to drag Olamide to court to claim Badoo ripped off hit single Yemi My Lover.

“Olamide didn’t seek Ayebo’s permission before he sang Yemi My Lover but he(Ayebo) is not bothered,” source said.
