Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has paid tribute to his loyalty to President Muhammadu Buhari saying he could go strange length to demonstrate it.

Bello asserted this on Wednesday when he went to the secretariat of the All Progressive Congress, APC, in Abuja, with four other governors to meet with the National Working Committee (NWC), The Nation reported.
The governor reportedly hit out at claim that his support for tenure elongation of the party chairman, Chief John Oyegun and others was owing to alleged crisis between him and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“They are saying that I have problem with Asiwaju Bola Tinubu; that is why I supported tenure elongation.
“I have no problem with Asiwaju, he is my leader. And President Buhari is the leader of all. I was supporting you (Oyegun and NWC) but we have to hold National Convention.
“I am an ardent supporter of President Muhammadu Buhari, who has said that we must stick to the 1999 Constitution and APC Constitution. If Buhari asks me to jump into fire, I will not hesitate to jump into it,” the paper quoted Bello as saying.
