Classic Africa Merit Award is the Africa’s continent annual event to honour outstanding endeavours in turning various dreams into realities. It is a lush green recognition ceremony for motivation of hard work, integrity, and honesty to our fatherland.
The maiden edition was held at Excellence Hotel on April 2011 and beautifully coloured by the first Executive governor of Lagos State, Alh. Lateef Jakande, Nana Kuffour Ado, former presidential candidate and former Minister of Justice, Ghana, Local Government Chairmen, top government functionaries, high flying corporate executives, fashionistas, among others witnessed the bliss.
CAMA 2013 in her unusual style has promised to assemble all the colours of fabrics of cooperate existence in Nigeria and Africa. The breeze of expansion of CAMA categories has elicited applause from stars; leadership/ governance, entertainment/fashion & style, brand and corporate leadership, humanity/special recognition, etc.
The Post Humors Award and Life Time Achievers’ Award will go to Gani Fawehimi and Bola Ahmed Tinubu respectively. CAMA has become a place of distinguished arena put together by THE CLASSIC INTERNATIONAL MAGAZINE.
Billed to hold inside the auspicious cozy and exquisite 10 Degrees Events Centre, Billingsway, off Oregun Road, Ikeja on Sunday 8th September, 2013, CAMA remains committed to contributions or other measurable activities to provide key phrases for a certificate of appreciation to sons and daughters of Africa who have respectively touched excellence.
Nominations is ongoing and the voting process will be the last face of this epoch making award. The Key note address titled “The role of the media in sustaining Nigeria democracy: Issues and perspectives” will be presented by veteran journalist cum politician and publisher of world acclaimed celebrity magazine, Ovation International, Bashorun Dele Momodu.
