A tragic event occurred in Bauchi State on Friday, December 28, 2018, as a bride, Fawziya Abdulkadir Tataru, died few hours to her wedding Fatiah scheduled for the following Saturday.
Fawziya was reportedly a quantity surveying graduate of the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, Bauchi and had been at her wedding walima on Friday with the wedding proper to take place on Saturday by 11am at the Gwallaga Jumat Mosque, in the state.
The event was not to be as the bride died after the walima of undisclosed ailment.
In an ugly twist of fate, the same mosque where her ill-fated Walima was slated to hold, hosted her funeral prayer, sources said.
