A Pentecostal pastor, Bishop Olanrewaju Elujoba has announced that his marriage has come to a bad end, and urged his ex to come clean on the issue by dropping his name for her maiden name.
Elujoba made public the break-up in a letter he wrote to her on Facebook.
The pastor, who is also a life coach wrote:
“Dear Ms. Olayemi Oladunjoye, former Mrs. Ola-Elujoba, here is the announcement which you did not mind me making public since more than a year ago.
“You had mentally quit on our ended marriage more than 3 years before I became aware of what was going on. I had to accept the reality that I failed to qualify as a worthy husband to you, for whatever reasons there may have been that you made no genuine effort to resolve directly with me, to my knowledge. I did tell you I will take full responsibility for the marriage failure. And I hope this public admission does that and is enough.
“Please remember to remove my last-name from your name henceforth so that all authorities are aware of our mutual agreement to continue to live our separate lives. You cannot quit on me privately and act otherwise publicly.
“I do congratulate your coaches and those “forum” that you conspired with secretly to smear and launch attacks at me from behind the scenes, both spiritually and physical. I pray that calamity shall not cease from such evil collaborators and their own homes.
“This is a sad/sweet season when we observe JESUS pains and sacrifice, and at the same time the powers of resurrection. As we close the sad chapters behind us. Newness of life beckons ahead. Thanks for all you did for me and our home while the marriage lasted. This public message brings a much needed closure for me while I pick up my own life from the bits that are left. We were public when we started, we need to be public when it is ended too.
“I wish you well. And May God bless your MORE!”
The letter, which racked up many views also generated comments with some commentators hailing the pastor for the disclosure.
