Man poses as Ooni, dupes US-based ladies of N600,000, i-Phone sets

The Ogun State Police Command have arrested a 26-year-old man, Biodun Joseph, who posed as the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, to dupe two US-based ladies of N600,000.

The suspect, who is married with a kid also duped his victims of two i-Phones 6 which were later recovered from him.

Joseph, an indigene of Ondo State was said to be impersonating the Ooni on his Facebook and WhatsApp platforms through which he duped his victims.

One of his victims was reportedly on the verge of sending N5m to him before his bubble burst.

Report said the victim asked him to buy a N45m property for her, and he agreed on the condition that she would pay N5m.
