Balogun, Ogu share thoughts on Super Eagles group


Few minutes after the conclusion of the 2018 World Cup draw held on Friday in Kremlin, Russia, two Super Eagles’ players have taken to the social media to share their thoughts on Nigeria’s group.

Nigeria is grouped alongside two-time World Cup winner, Argentina, first timer, Iceland, and Croatia.

Centre Back Leon Balogun and midfielder John Ogu, were the first players among their national teammates to comment on the group via their twitter handles, @leonbalogun and @ogujohnugo respectively.

“Wow – what a draw! This group is a challenge, an honor, a chance, an opportunity…it’s fire!!!! World Cup baby,” Balogun tweeted.

Ogu  borrowed a popular quote. He wrote: “If you want to be the Best,you have to Beat the Best.”
