How robbers posed as postmen to rob my father – Ogenyi Onazi
Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi, has given a graphic details of how his father was on Monday in Jos, the Plateau State capital robbed by armed robbers.

Four armed robbers attacked the Trabzonspor midfielder’s father carting away valuables including a Toyota Highlander and cash.
Narrating the incident to Africanfootball.com from his base, Onazi said the armed robbers gained entry into the house after posing as letter carriers and during the operation injured his father and carted valuables, adding that no life was lost.
His word, “Those robbers came and pretended they were there to deliver a letter to my dad at about 1:40pm on Monday. As soon as he collected their fake letter and asked where it was coming from, they swooped on him, tied his hands, beat him up and inflicted machete cuts on him in the process,” the Super Eagles midfielder told africanFootball.com from his base in Turkey.
“They told him this is the first in a series of attacks that they will launch on our house and that I will be their next target.”
“They took their time to take some valuable materials including a car and some cash but I am thankful to God they didn’t do more than that.”
