I want a father for my daughter – Actress Uche Ogbodo

Nollywood actress Uche Ogbodo has said her innermost desire was to get a father figure for her daughter.

Recall that the 31-year-old actress’ marriage to ex-football Ato Ubby broke up months into its solemnization.

Ubby who was reportedly married to a white woman with two kids, according to report then did not know Uche was pregnant by him when their marriage collapsed like a badly arranged pack of cards.

The actress in a recent interview disclosed that she was not in talking terms with the father of her daughter.

According to her, she hated being a single mother saying she needs a father-figure for her daughter.

Uche said, “I never wanted it to be a single mother but it happened by fate. I need a partner in my life, because I don’t think I want to spend the rest of my life alone with my children. Even at this age, my daughter keeps asking me about her father. She has never seen him. This isn’t what I want and it hurts me sometimes.

“But what can I do and I am hoping that I can get a good daddy for my daughter. I don’t want a daddy that would hurt me and my child, but one that would love us both.”
