Moji Olaiya’s death: Actor Saheed Balogun begs his colleagues to take their health seriously

Nollywood actor Saheed Balogun has appealed to his colleagues in the movie industry not to neglect their health.

Balogun made this appeal against the backdrop of the death of actress Moji Olaiya and the controversy surrounding the funds being raised to repatriate her body from Canada.

In the interview he granted Punch, the iconic actor, however, blamed piracy and the failure of the National Assembly to enact laws that would tame piracy for the unpalatable financial situations of movie practitioners.

He said, “People die every day. It is not that we are not checking ourselves, it happens but I am begging all actors to work on their health. I was supposed to celebrate my birthday from May 24 to 26 but I postponed it in honour of our fallen colleague.”
