Etim, a father of seven, was heading to the office where he was a security guard when he was struck by a company car and killed at Omole Estate Phase II in Kosofe Local Area.

Punch reports the company driver was on phone and was driving when he hit Etim and a motorcyclist.
Speaking to the paper, Etim’s widow, Dorothy, a housemaid, said the company where the driver who caused her husband’s death works abandoned the bereaved family until they got help from their church.

“My church got a lawyer for us and after the lawyer spoke with them, they promised to give us N250,000. But what will I do with that? All I want is for them to bury my husband and help my children. I want them to give my children scholarships,” the mother-of-seven said.
