Lawal disclosed his clash with his pastor at the Methodist Church Nigeria 45th/10th Biennial Conference recently held at National Centre for women Development, Abuja, where he was guest of honour.

Speaking at the occasion, the SFG expressed his frustration at negative comments that were being passed about the Buhari government.

“I was in the church one day and my pastor said this government is confused. I immediately walked out of the church and when i got home, i sent him a stinker,” Lawal told the gathering.

He stated that organisations that are ignorant about the activities of government have the right to be informed by inviting government officials.

“Methodist Church can invite the Finance Minister Kemi Adeosun to come and explain to them government’s economic policies and it has her duty to honour such invitation” he said.
