Names of the lawmakers he alleged were marked for death are: Information Committee Chairman, Samuel Omotoso; chairman of ad hoc panel that investigated Aribisogan, Samuel Jeje; Ethics Committee chairman, Ojo-Ade Fajana and Deputy Chief Whip, Dayo Akinleye, and himself.

The Speaker fingered Aribisogan and a former governorship aspirant, Yinka Akerele, as the arrowheads of the alleged plot.

He said: “In the last few days, a certain red colored Volkswagen Golf car with registration number ADK 167 EV has been used by some unidentified men to trail our members and the aforesaid members have been living in palpable fear.

“Hon. Omotoso was trailed from Bank Road to Textile, Basiri Road, Ado Ekiti on Monday, October 17, 2016 by this Volkswagen Golf car while the same car was also seen trailing me (Speaker) at , Ori Apata opposite School of Nursing, Ado Ekiti same day.

“In charge of this present onslaught on the House of Assembly is a certain Otunba Yinka Akerele and he is working in collaboration with the suspended member of the House, Hon. Gboyega Aribisogan and others.”
